FCID leaves for Singapore to probe Krrish Deal

A delegation of officers attached to the FCID left for Singapore with regard to the investigations concerning the Krrish Square complex proposed to be built in the heart of Colombo Fort.

The delegation, which also included officers from the Attorney General’s Department, engaged in the tour in Singapore last week.

Police FCID is concerned about the funds provided via Singapore for the Krrish Project.

Recently, a statement was recorded from MP Namal Rajapaksa in line with the investigations conducted on the Krrish project, which commenced its initial work during the previous regime.

It was also reported that the legal consultation pertaining to the dealings of the Krrish project was conducted via the legal consultation firm, which is owned by MP Namal Rajapaksa.
