Commuters have objected to the new railway time table to be introduced with effect from tomorrow

The Railway Department has planned to implement the new time table on all its lines except on the Kelani Valley.

However railway commuters complain that they are unable to report for duty on time if the new time table is implemented.

Meanwhile Railway Department’s Deputy Transport Superintendent V.S. Polvattha told our news team that the new time table is being implemented on an experimental basis therefore adjustments can be done if necessary.
