A special discussion on the European Union (EU) imposed fish ban in Sri Lanka is due to take place on April 18.

It is said that a decision will be made on this date if to lift the fish ban imposed on the country.

A special Fisheries Ministry delegation went to Brussels earlier to discuss regarding the matter.

Fisheries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that the EU has already decided to resolve the fishing crisis.
