Two Japanese naval ships arrive at Colombo Port

Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, welcomed two Japanese naval ships arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday.

Two Japan Maritime Self Defense Force ships, "JS Makinami and "JS Suzunami" arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill visit.

During the ships' stay, a Search and Rescue Exercise is scheduled to be conducted with Sri Lanka Navy Ships in view of sharing professional expertise between the two friendly navies.
