Yet another powerful earthquake has hit the southern Japanese city of Kumamoto last night, just a day after nine were killed in an earlier quake.
The magnitude-7.3 quake hit at a depth of 10km (six miles) at 01:25 on Saturday (15:25 GMT on Friday) in Kyushu region. At least three people died and hundreds were injured, foreign media reports.
Reports also say that a tsunami warning was issued but lifted 50 minutes later.
However, a whole village was evacuated from the affected area after a dam collapsed.
