Horton Plains Police said that a large number of local and foreign tourists visited Horton Plains during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season and they witnessed a large number of vehicles parked along the sides of Nuwara Eliya and Ohiya roads, a number of kilometers away from Horton Plains wildlife office.

World’s End is situated around 3,520 meters away from the wildlife office. Bakers Falls is situated around 477 meters away from the office.
