UNP Was First To Establish Serious Ties With China – Min. Kiriella

Minister Lakshman Kiriella says many countries have pledged their support to Sri Lanka’s economic development.

Speaking to reporters in Kandy the Minister said although members of the previous regime gloated about their relationship with China, but the United National Party (UNP) was the first to sign trade agreements with the Asian powerhouse.

Speaking further Minister Lakshman Kiriella said the Joint Opposition still does not have an official leader.
