CEB’s Man Power employee strike called off

The 23 days long strike launched by the Man Power employees at the Ceylon Electricity Board has called it off after the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy decided to give them permanent appointments after holding interviews.

The Man Power employees protested in front of the ministry till yesterday.

The subject Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that the issue will be resolved within the next two months.

He also added that recruits of more Man Power employees will be stopped henceforth.
