Minister+Rishad+stands+against+the+Federal+proposal
Leader of the All Ceylons peoples congress Rishad Bathiudeen says that his party is against the Federal government system unifying the people of the North and East which was proposed to the Northern Provincial council.

He stated this at a function held in Vavuniya- Nelumkuluna yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Tamil peoples council notes that the Tamil people do not request for a separate governance as requested by the LTTE in the past as a solution for the North and East issue.

The spokesperson for the Tamil peoples council attorney, P Puvitharan noted that instead they request a federal government in a unitary state where power is distributed.
