A former LTTE Leader Ram arrested by TID

Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that a former LTTE leader Ram has been arrested by the Terrorism Investigation Division. 

Earlier it was reported that he had been abducted by a group of unknown persons last night.

The Police Media Spokesman said that Ram’s wife had made a complaint to Thirikkovil police about the  abduction by an unknown group.

Police Media Spokesman’s Office said that Ram was rehabilitated by the government in 2009 and had been engaged in agricultural activities in Thirikkovil.
