220 Kilos of Ganja Worth Rs. 40 Mil. Seized in Police Mission (Images)

Two suspects have been recovered with a massive stock of Ganja from Amunukole area in Nawagaththegama while travelling to Colombo from Jaffna.

The Ganja stock of 220 kilos is worth over 40 million rupees.

Nawagaththegama police have raided the vehicle as the two suspects have drove-off without stopping at Saliyawewa police check point.

Police sources noted that another vehicle of the same model and color had also been employed in the Ganja trafficking plot to misguide the Police.

The two suspects will be brought before Anamaduwa magistrate.
