A Sri Lankan youth was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Italy yesterday, the Italian media reported.

The 20 year old Sri Lankan was stabbed by an unidentified group of men who had approached him in Piazza Cavour, in Rome, Italy.

The Sri Lankan had told the police he was attacked for no reason. The police are investigating the incident.
