Priyankara Jayarathna and Nishantha Wickramasinghe questioned by Massive Fraud and Corruption Commission

Former Civil Aviation Service Minister Priyankara Jayarathna and former chairman of Sri Lankan airline Nishantha Wickramasinghe were questioned by the Massive Fraud and Corruption Commission this morning.
They were required to give statements in connection with the misappropriation of 30 million rupees committed by its catering division between 2010 and 2015.
Former executive officer of the catering unit Manoj Vass Gunawardana was absent today and was not Able to give a statement before the Commission. Consequent to Gunawardana’s absence, the Commission officials put off the investigations for May 19th.
