Prez and PM speaks at the death anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa

Lack of awareness among the public regarding work of the Good Governance is a shortcoming, President Maithripala Sirisena said.

He said this whilst attending the ceremony to commemorate the 23rd death anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa. The ceremony, which was organized by the Sucharitha foundation and his family, was held near the statue of him at Hulftsdorp.

Also speaking at the event Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said the country has achieved freedom of speech.

Late President’s son Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Sajith Premadasa was also present at the event.
