Colour+code+for+sugar+content+in+drinks

In order to curb diabetes, people will be given the opportunity to choose soft drinks based on their sugar content.

Commencing from June 01, the containers of these drinks will be marked with a colour code warning consumers about the sugar levels in them.

The Ministry of Health that introduced the new system said soft drinks affect diabetes among Sri Lankans.
