The Australian media reported that a boat carrying Sri Lankan asylum seekers has docked within the Cocos Islands yesterday.

A wooden boat, carrying 12 Sri Lankan asylum seekers, arrived around 10.45 am on Monday in bad weather, Australia says.

It's the first asylum seeker boat reported to have arrived in Australia in nearly two years.
