An individual has been arrested by Wild Life officers in Andarawewa, hambantota for selling venison in his house.

The suspect has been engaged in the illegal business with the assistance of illegitimate hunters in the area.

The suspect has possessed cooked venison and parceled packets of fresh meet for sale.

The accused will be produced before Hambantota Magistrate today with seized venison stock.
