The individual who was arrested for threatening the President and the Prime Minister (PM) through a Facebook video was remanded further till May 20 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris.

The CID said that the suspect Lakmana Arachchige Sugath had requested for political asylum in Malaysia while staying there without a visa.

The suspect was arrested on the 27th of April after being deported from Malaysia for residing without a visa.
