Police has commenced investigations to arrest three more university students who were involved in the ragging incident at the Kelaniya University.

Four female students and three male students are already in police custody.

Police states that the suspects were produced for a medical test by the Ragama Judicial Medical Officer.

The seven suspects were produced before the Mahara Magistrate Court yesterday and were remanded until the 17th of this month.

The victim has complained to police that she was subjected to ragging after she wore jeans for lectures.

She stated in her complaint that the seniors used abusive language and mentally harassed her.
