President Maithripala Sirisena will leave on Wednesday (11) to attend the Anti-corruption Summit in London.

Prime Minister in Britain David Cameron has invited the president when they met at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held in Malta last year.

It was reported that the summit, a first of its kind, will bring together world leaders, business and civil society to agree a package of practical steps to expose corruption, punish the perpetrators and support those affected by corruption and drive out the culture of corruption wherever it exists.

After his return from his London trip the president will visit India to meet its Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 13 and 14.
