Four bodies of wild elephants, believed to be struck by lightning, was found Kiralpatiyawa area in Anuradhapura.

Hiru correspondent said the animals were found this morning.

Two calves are among the dead.

Wildlife officials believes the animals had died after they were struck by lightning on Friday (06).
