New evidence of the Thirappane murder revealed

The ex-Army Special Forces personal and two others found dead in a car in Thirappane, Anuradhapura were shot 15 times using a T-56 assault rifle, a post mortem report reveals.

Judicial Medical Officer at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital Dr. S. H. M. K. Senarathna has conducted a post mortem inquiry into the deaths following the order of Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate and Additional District Court Judge.

Sarath Bandara alias S. F. Banda had seven bullet wounds on his chest area, the report shows.

The bodies were found in a car on 30th last month.
