Bandula writes to government about the VAT revisions

Three written requests will be forwarded to the government regarding the revised VAT, MP Bandula Gunawardena said.

He said the requests include the removal of the imposition of VAT on healthcare and reduction of VAT from 15 per cent to 12 per cent.

Meanwhile, JVP leader Anura Kumara said they would launch a protest campaign against the increase of VAT.
