The Everest trek; Meet the Sri Lankans gearing to the summit

Friends Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala and Johann Peries are trekking the Mount Everest, making history as the first Sri Lankans to do so.

Currently they are camping at 5,300 meters above the sea level.

Releasing a video, the duo has announced that they are reaching the summit.

Nearly 3000 have accomplished to summit the Mount Everest, while 210 have died attempting to climb it.
