The Met. Department predicts that the winds can strengthen up to 70-80 Kmph at times while requesting fisheries community and Naval forces to be cautious.
Meanwhile, rough sea and stormy weather may shove tidal waves towards the lands in the coastal stripe from Hikkaduwa to Ambalangoda.
