TNA’s parliamentarian and Deputy Chairman of the committees Selvam Adaikkalanathan said in the Parliament that he extends his condolence to those who died in the end phase of the armed conflict on behalf of all the people.

He made this statement addressing on the debate when the house adjourned on Tuesday (May 17).

Selvam stated that the Government should come forward to provide assistance for victims of landmines in the North and East. This is a key issue in the reconciliation process of the government. Government should pay attention on the matter.

When the appointments of Principals, priority should be given to those who have being serviced as deputy Principals, he added.
