The Irrigation Department states that the Kelani and the Kalu Rivers are still prone to flood.

Director of the Aquatic Science of the Irrigation Department Prema Hettiarachchi noted.

She further stated that locals on the either side and low land areas of those two rivers should be on alert and be prepared for probable emergency situation.
