SL needs a Proper Mechanism to Avoid Landslides, Says Premier

Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe stated in Parliament today that Sri Lanka needs an effective mechanism to cease landslides.

He also noted that necessary guidance has been given to disaster management center to implement such mechanism.

Meanwhile, JVP MP Vijitha Herath requested the government to declare emergency situation in the country due to the havoc experienced Island-wide.
