37 hospitalized after buses crash

Thirty seven passengers were hospitalized after two buses met with an accident at Talduwa on the Kegalle Avissawella road this morning. 

Police said one of the ill-fated buses was transporting a group of factory workers and the other was a public transport bus.  The injured have been admitted to Avissawella hospital.

Meanwhile an unknown group has launched an attack in Inginiyagala on a Colombo bound bus from Ampara last night. 

Police said three injured passengers have been admitted to Ampara hospital.   Police also said the attackers have not been identified at this time.
