A group of Joint Opposition MP’s visits Walikada Prison

The Joint Opposition states that it appears the government has forgotten the war heroes who brought an end to the war.  

A group of Joint Opposition MPs visited several war heroes who are being detained at Welikada prison this morning. 

The visit to Welikada Prison coincided with yesterday’s commemoration of war heroes’ day. 

MPs Wimal Weerawansa, Bandula Gunawardana, Johnston Fernando, Udaya Gammanpila, Prasanna Ranatunga and Namal Rajapaksa were among the group.
