Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe left to check on victims at the Samsara Kanda in Aranayaka where a deadly landslide took place.

Hiru correspondent said that the PM would visit relief camps where displaced people are taking refuge in.

Meanwhile an Indian Naval ship with donations to flood and landslide victims would dock in Sri Lanka this evening.

The INS Sutlej, a survey vessel, is sailing from Sothern Naval Command in Kochi.

Indian reports said that the INS Sunayna is also expected to leave for Sri Lanka with more relief supplies.
