An Environmental Relief Force Initiated To Manage Disaster

President Maithripala Sirisena has given special instructions to establish an 'environmental relief force' to manage the enironmental disaser caused by the recent flooding.

According to the Presidenial Media Unit, the force has been established to uplift and rehabilitate a proper environment in those areas which were affected by the floods. 

The Central Environment Authority patronaged by the President has had a discussion this morning to evaluate the damages caused to the environment by the floods.
