Three ministers staged a protest on behalf of estate workers, demanding a one hundred rupees salary increase.

Ministers P. Digambaram, Mano Ganeshan and State Minister V. Radha Krishnan have joined the protest in front of Colombo Fort Railway station.

Speaking to the media, minister Digambaram said that they will launch an island wide strike unless their demand is met within 14 days.
