President Maithripala Sirisena Participates In The Outreach Meeting Of G7 Summit

The President Maithripala Sirisena who is in Japan to participate in the outreach meeting of the G7 summit has held bilateral talks with several world leaders today.

During the talks with Vietnam, The Vietnamese Prime Minster Nguyen Xuan Phuc has extended an invitation to President Sirisena to visit Vietnam.

President Sirisena ha d in return invited the Vietnamese Premier to visit Sri Lanka.

The two leaders have discussed the longstanding relations between the two nations.

Subsequently, President Sirisena has held bilateral economic talks with the officials of the Japan Foreign and Economic Cooperation Agency.

The President’s Media Unit stated that the President has had discussions with the officials of the parent company of the Colombo Dock Yard.

Later this evening, President Sirisena held bilateral discussions with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo.
