A German MP was attacked with a chocolate cake over her stance on the refugee crisis, on Saturday.
Sahra Wagenknecht was at a congress of her far-left Die Linke Party in the city of Magdeburg, when she was hit on the face with cake.
She was sitting during the opening speech when a man attacked her. An anti-fascist group has claimed responsibility for it.
Wagenknecht has said that Germany should put a limit on the number of refugees it takes in – a position not supported by others in her party.
