The lawyers appearing on behalf of the JVP informed the Court of Appeal today that the party will further proceed with its petition against the former LTTE international leader Kumaran Padmanaadan.
Appeal Court Judge Prithi Padman Surasena ordered that the allegations be proven before July 25th.
The lawyer appearing on behalf of the JVP said, before court today that his client is not satisfied with the report submitted by the Attorney General with regard to KP. Therefore he said that his client will continue with the petition.
Meanwhile the Appeal Court Judge ordered to extend the travel ban on KP until July 26th.
JVP propaganda Secretary and MP Vijitha Herath has filed this petition requesting that the Court take legal action.
