Man arrested for poaching at Yala National Park

Wildlife officers today arrested a man who hunted animals at Yala National Park.

According to the police, one of the suspects who were involved in poaching escaped when the wildlife officers raided the area.

The officers have also seized carcasses of a tiger, an elk, two wild boars and a wild buffalo.

Reports indicated that the suspects are residents of Kataragama area.
