Over 130 people have died from the heat wave prevailing in India.

The crippling heat that has lasted for over two months, is still dominating many parts of the country.

According to Indian media temperatures rose to more than 47°C (116.6°F) in the western state of Rajasthan.

Local Met departments in the capital Delhi, where temperatures rose to 42.6°C (108.7°F).
