In a strange incident which was more like a movie story, a sexagenarian married a woman in her late 20’s. Then there was more drama to follow.
The 64-year-old founder-director of National Institute of Creative Communication in Hennur Gardens, Dr Akash K. Rose fell in love with his 27-year-old student Krupa Prajapati.
It is said that they had married two months ago and were at the Rajarajeshwari Nagar Sub-registrar's office to collect their marriage certificate. Parents and relatives of Krupa Prajapati were waiting at the office, ready to thrash the couple.
Krupa claimed that she had informed her father Hassanmukh Prajapati about the relationship, which he opposed. She said that she was always a neglected child and her parents used to pamper her brothers all the time. She stated that she found solace in Akash’s company.
The couple had to flee from the marriage registrar's office for their lives when the girl’s relatives thrashed them, Indian media reports.
