Minister SB Dissanayake says that the inefficient administration during the former United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) led government led to the downfall of the Samurdhi social protection fund.

The Minister charged that certain policies implemented by former Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa have led to a significant markdown in the Samurdhi fund.

Minister Dissanayake expressed these views joining an event held in Beruwala yesterday. Minister Dissanayake noted Samurdhi officers were forced to work
