Former DIG of Western Province Anura Senanayake and former Narahenpita Crimes OIC Sumith Champika, who were arrested and remanded in connection with the murder of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen, have been remanded again.

Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Pieris ordered the two to be remanded until the 23rd of this month, after the case was taken for hearing today.

They were arrested under the charges of not disclosing evidence related to the Wasim Thajudeen murder case.
