Shepherd Sleeps As More Than 1000 Sheep Run Amok In Spanish Town

When the shepherd's asleep, the sheep take a leap.

That's exactly what happened in Spain in the wee hours of Tuesday, and it was all caught on tape.

Some 1,300 sheep took over the streets of the northeastern city of Huesca after their caretaker dozed off, leaving them to fend for themselves, foreign media reports.

But all's well that ends well. The sheep were brought under control after a resident called police who quickly found the shepherd some distance away in a deep sleep. Together, the cops and the herdsman led the flock to safety.
