A new research has revealed that malnutrition is sweeping the world, fueled by obesity as well as starvation.
The 2016 Global Nutrition Report, done in 129 countries, stated that 44 per cent of countries are now experiencing ‘very serious levels’ of under-nutrition and obesity.
According to the new statistics one in every three people suffers from malnutrition.
Being malnourished is "the new normal", the report's authors said.
Hundreds of millions of people are malnourished because they are overweight, as well as having too much sugar, salt or cholesterol in their blood, the report said.
