1144 Deaths Due To Motor Accidents Reported During First Five Months

1144 persons have died in motor accidents within the time period between 1st of January to 31st of May this year.

According to DIG of Traffic and Road Safety Amarasiri Senaratne, the number of deaths have dropped in comparison to the previous year.

DIG Senaratne stated this while addressing a media briefing held at the National Council for Road Safety this morning.
