Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Fernando remanded seven out of the eight Indians who were arrested in connection to the kidney racket, till 22nd.
When the case was taken up this morning the Colombo Crimes Division said that the Attorney General has notified that he would intervene.
Eight Indians were arrested in Wellawatta and Havelock Town in connection to the kidney racket on March.
Indian police busted an illegal organ harvesting racket operating out of the Apollo Hospital, one of New Delhi's top private hospitals. Police said that they have found connections to Sri Lanka.
