Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, reported again to the FCID this morning.
He was called to record a statement with regard to the investigations being carried out in connection with CSN television. A senior spokesman of the FCID told our news team that the statement is being recorded at this time.
Meanwhile MP Namal Rajapaksa was also scheduled to report to the FCID this morning. The MP had been summoned to record a statement with regard to a complaint where he had siphoned 70 million rupees out of a financial deal of Kris and used the money for a Rugby game.
MP Rajapaksa informed police however, that he will not be reporting to the FCID today.
Meanwhile 27 public officials are scheduled to give statements to the FCID today with regard to various other complaints.
