General Amnesty Period For Illegal Firearms Concludes Today

The general Amnesty period granted to hand over illegal firearms to the government will conclude today.

The Ministry of Defense said persons returning weapons will not be subject to any fines or punishments for holding a weapon.

The general amnesty period was announced on the 30th of May.

The Defense Ministry said it will conduct raids from tomorrow in search of illegal firearms.
