No Ministerial Posts For Joint Opposition MPs – Ajith Mannapperuma

United National Party (UNP) MP Ajith Mannapperuma says ministerial portfolios will not be granted to any Parliamentarians attached to the so-called Joint Opposition who are due to join the government in the future.

MP Mannapperuma said a group of MPs attached to the so-called Joint Opposition have pledged to join the government.

UNP MP Ajith Mannapperuma said the group pledged to support the government after realizing they will not benefit from being part of the Joint Opposition.
