The Police Narcotics Bureau has arrested a drug lord, involved in the drug racket operating in Sri Lanka and Pakistan through Qatar, this morning.
He was carrying drugs in his language when he was arrested attempting to enter Sri Lanka at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake.
The suspect is identified as Roydad Khan, a Pakistani national and a ringleader of an international drug smuggling business.
Police says that heroin weighing 7.50kgs were taken into custody during raids during the past three days.
Further investigations are underway.
