It has been made compulsory to display the color code of sugar content on all soft drinks from August.

The Health Ministry noted that the relevant gazette has been issued by now.

Accordingly, the red color should be displayed in 100 ml drinks that contain over 11g of sugar, while yellow color should be displayed on drinks containing 2g to 11g of sugar.

The Health Ministry also noted that a green color code should be displayed on drinks if the sugar content is less than 2g.
